- As the title of my blog suggests, I'm a bit neurotic. It manifests itself in various ways, which I'm sure will become known throughout my writings. I have an unwavering love for the city of London, having spent a semester studying at the Imperial College of London. I miss living there so much that my heart actually aches. After graduation, my goal is to move there permanently, get a job, etc. My second passion would be soccer (or football, as it is correctly known throughout the rest of the world). I love US soccer and follow the USMNT closely, as well as the Chicago Fire of MLS and Arsenal and Fulham of the EPL. Finally, I am incredibly passionate about progressive politics. My hero is my hometown dude, Senator Russ Feingold. This election I am supporting Barack Obama. I, like many others, remember seeing Obama speak at the 2004 Democratic National Convention and getting chills. I've had the good fortune of seeing Obama speak in person on two occasions (Feb. 2005 and Feb. 2008) and am incredibly excited about his nomination!!

I found your blog through the comments section on the USMNT blog. I hope you don't think this is weird, but I read through your profile and interests and was astounded by how much we have in common!
I'm kind of a wannabe Brit also (I've never even been there!) because of my infatuation with all things soccer. I would LOVE to live there at some point. I'm a HUGE follower of the game in America and in Europe. I'm from the New York area and I support the Red Bulls, USMNT and of course Fulhamerica! This past weekend, I was at the USA/Argentina game at Giants Stadium. One of the most incredible experiences of my life. I trust you were able to catch the game on TV?
Anyway, we should talk sometime if you'd like. Great stuff, keep it up!
